Artist Contest – Terms and Conditions
1. (Organizer) JC Fine Arts
This contest is organized by John J Catalfamo
2. Eligibility
- The contest is open to individuals aged [minimum age, e.g., 18 years or older].
- Participants must reside in the United States
- Employees of the Organizer and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. Contest Period
- The contest begins on 4/01/2026 and ends on 6/30/2026
- Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
- Participants must submit original artwork via the form included on this website.
- Each participant may submit one entries.
- Submissions must include:
- Artist name
- Contact information
- Title and description of the artwork
- link to there examples or social media portfiolo.
5. Artwork Requirements
- All entries must be original work created by the participant.
- Artwork must not infringe upon any third-party rights.
- The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate, offensive, or plagiarized.
6. Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on:
- Creativity and originality
- Technical skill
- Relevance to the contest theme
- Overall impact
7. Prizes
Winners will receive.
- A online podcast interview with host John Catalfamo
- Promotional exposure on all our social media apps.
- A one on one art evaluation and free valuation.
- One year free bronze artist membership beginners level.
- A full page promotional ad on our website
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless stated otherwise.
8. Winner Selection and Notification
- Winners will be selected by judging panel
- Winners will be notified via email/phone/platform within 3 weeks
- If a winner does not respond within 30 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
9. Rights and Usage
- By entering, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote the submitted artwork for contest-related purposes.
- Artists retain full ownership of their work.
10. Publicity
- Winners agree to allow the Organizer to use their name and artwork for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
11. Liability
- The Organizer is not responsible for:
- Lost, late, or incomplete entries
- Technical issues affecting submission
- Participants agree to release the Organizer from any liability related to the contest.
12. Disqualification
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
- Violates these terms
- Submits false information
- Engages in unfair or unethical conduct
13. Changes and Cancellation
- The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice.
14. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of NY
